In the era of technology we use many passwords to access information but today, in every situation we face, Father God would like us to activate the password of ‘Thank you’. This cultivates a nature of gratitude which inspires our worship and loving service to Him. Psalm 100:4 in the Message Bible says, “Enter with the password: ‘Thank you!’ Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.”

The Word of God also inspires us, that no matter what the circumstance is, “to be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMP

The will of God for us is to give thanks in every situation that we are passing now, with gratitude that comes from a genuine heart, to show honour and respect to God who clears the way for us to live a a life of obedience that is pleasing to Him.

The root of gratitude is love and should be a way of life for us, naturally flowing from our hearts and mouths. Let’s not allow negativity to stop us because thanksgiving improves our health, relationships and financial well-being.

We honour God when we give thanks and pray with gratitude. The Word says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 NLT.

Always do everything with a grateful heart and give thanks for your family and the Body of Christ. Gratitude will help in developing a strong and healthy family.

This November in the United Kingdom the ‘Gratitude Initiative’ will be launched We believe when we give thanks to our family in our home, from the smallest things to the greatest, it creates an atmosphere of gratitude, love, respect and forgiveness to fill the home. What we practice at home will then be practised in our schools, universities, workplaces, the wider society and the nation.

Gratitude is one of the most noble qualities of human beingsI We believe one of the ways to practice gratitude is by expressing our love through embracing and giving hospitality to others. As people who love God, we need to be have a constant attitude of gratitude because we have received that which we do not deserve with the love of the Son Jesus Christ through whom we are saved and set free. Always be joyful and give thanks for everything!

Activate the Password in your life today! Thank you!
